Welcome back to Technique Tuesday! This week I'm presenting a video on the Faux Leather technique, which was used on the background of the card above. (Forgive the break at the end of my video, the batteries died but it was just seconds from the end!) Also shown on today's card is this darling kitty cat paper from We R Memory Keepers. Each month join our instructor Lorrie for a one hour class where she'll taught about some of the newest products in the store and then demonstrate how to use them to create your own scrapbook pages! Club members will receive a monthly kit of supplies and an opportunity to purchase items on sale during the special one-hour sale for club members only! Valentine's Day Card Class

Join instructor Mary-Ann Maldanado for her Valentine's Card Class! This class will consist of approximately 10 mini Valentine cards, tags, and a few coordinating envelopes. You'll be using Basic Grey's Kissing Booth paper line, paired with Maya Road embellishments and Canvas Corp. tags. Supplies needed: foam tape, adhesive, trimmer, scissors, ruler, glue dots, rub on tool (popsicle stick). And if you have a Corp-a-dile, bring that along too!

Welcome to another Technique Tuesday! My apologizes for not having my own video up this week...I was 30 seconds from being finished with my video when the batteries gave out on my camera and, of course, I didn't have any more batteries in the house! Ugh! However, I plan to be back with a video next week and I do have a great technique to share with you today!

Today's technique is creating a faux herringbone design on card backgrounds. For my card I used our new We R Memories Keepers paper called Tres Elegant. This paper has a number of great patterns that all coordinate perfectly. The image on my card is from a new Sweet 'n Sassy stamp set, Together Silhouettes. (We can order any Sweet 'n Sassy stamp set for you!)

12 Tags of Christmas - Day Nine

Oh my, I forgot abll about my Day Nine card! That's what I get for creating more projects than I have time to post! (And truth be told...I still have three cards to make to complete the 12!) But for now...this is the tag number nine design! It's definitely a bit different than Tim's tag since I didn't have the latern die that he used on his tag.

However, the solution was to find another die that was tall and vertical in format. Mr. Snowman perfectly fit the bill! I then used all the other techniques that Tim used on his tag, including double embossing, painting with daubers, and making all things super glossy with Glossy Accents! You can check out all of his tag on his blog!

Design Team Highlights

I'm cheating...This is a page that I created, not one of our DT members. However, it was created for a design team so...I'm gonna share because it contains a boatload of fabulous products that we carry in the store!

First up is this beautiful paper from Graphic 45, which we had in stock earlier this year. And although this specific paper may not longer be in stock, we reguarly have Graphic 45 in the house and really...isn't all Graphic 45 paper stunning!

Next, beautiful flowers from Petaloo. I love the variety of flowers available from Petaloo and we always have a nice supply in stock. These are so easy to use as they come already prepared with a glue dot on the back of the flower, just peel and stick!

I also used a some tissue tape and film strip from Tim Holtz. Many folks have commented on how much they love the tissue tape but they're not really sure how to use it...Well this is one of my favorite tricks for using it on scrapbook pages...create a ribbon effect! Because tissue tape is so easy to work with, it's a breeze to create ruffles with the tape. It sticks perfectly to the paper but removes easily as well, for re-positioning.

How about chipboard letters and this great rosette ribbon! We always have lots of letters in stock, from stickers to chipboard. Love the peel and stick chipboard, great for instant titles. The rosette ribbon we have from time to time but we always carry the Tim Holtz ribbon, which comes white but can be easily colored with alcohol inks!

And bling...but of course we have bling...in all shapes and sizes and packages of tags too! Tags are great for altering and using to journal or as a home for bling, butterflies, and sentiments! The tiny butterfly punch is from Martha Stewart and we reguarly invite Martha and her products to the store too!

I know, I know...You're wondering where in the world have I been??!! The truth is that I've been buried underneath a pile of Christmas presents, wrapping paper, pine needles, and more crafting projects than I can count!! Ah, the joy of the holidays!! **smile** However, I think I am finally starting to emerge from my holiday cocoon and am ready to start thinking about 2012!

I know it may seem far too early to think about spring time and Mother's Day but seeing as there has been little time to consider creating a new video, I thought it would be fun to share a picture tutorial from Splitcoast that demonstrates how to create this darling photo cube.

The best part about this cube? You can easily flatten it and send it through the mail! Wouldn't this be a great holiday gift or something for the grandparents who live far away? It would be an amazing Christmas card but honestly, who has that much time! LOL! Not only is this easy to create but takes just minutes to decorate due to it's small size! 12 Tags of Christmas - Day Eight

I'm back with the next tag/card and this one...it's a favorite!! I love all the little bits and pieces all over the card and the big 'ol challenge Tim put me through to try and come up with the parts that would work for this card because I had almost none of what he used on his tag! So...let's get started!! (And remember that for full instructions on the tags, visit Tim's blog)

For today's card I was missing the stamp sets, die cuts, and some of the embellishments that Tim was missing. However, I did have this fun dress form stamp set in my collection of Tim stamps and realized that it had the same look as the one that Tim used. My background was stamped with some of the word stamps that came with this set and the dress form was stamped on grungeboard.

Tim used a clock face die for the large background die but I used a punched scallop die from Spellbinders to act as my "clock." Tim used his gear die to fill the open area in the clock but since I didn't have the die, I picked up a fun package of gear stickers from Jolees.

I did have the film strip, vial label, and ticket so I was able to add those fun tidbits and then instead of adding a metal number 25, like Tim did, I opted to use this fun wooden game piece, which is noting the age I wish I still was! LOL!

This is so my style and I was just in love with the end results! A HUGE thanks to Tim for the inspiration and techniques!!

12 Tags of Christmas - Day Seven

Welcome to Day Seven's card! The tag that Tim created for Day Seven made me go out and purchase stamp set and Glassine paper!! He made me do it...honestly. *smile*

Today's tag was easy to create but included a very fun technique using the Glassine kraft paper. See Tim's post on how to use this very cool paper here. I never would have purchased it, not knowing what to really do with it, until I saw his video.

The leaves were created using the Glassine paper and then I simply added some branches, ribbon, sparkly stuff, and holly berries (pearl embellies that I colored with my Copic markers). The background of the card was aged with Distress Inks and the sentiment was embossed in black. Pretty easy today...Be sure to check back over the weekend for Day Eight's tag...it's my favorite so far!!

12 Tags of Christmas - Day Six

In lieu of the Technique Tuesday post, I'm going to keep on sharing the fabulous Tim-inspired cards! However, if you're intersted in some fabulous techniques, hop on over to Tim's blog and check out the techniques he used to create the look seen on today's card!

This is the Day Six card and the first of my "doozey" cards...these are the tags that Tim created where I initially had a hard time figuring out how I was going to re-create his look in card format. On Day Six, Tim featured the embossing using sticky back metal sheets, which I confess are wonderful tools...love the metal! However, I had no metal in my stash and the store was out of stock so I could have either waited until new stock arrived (this week!) or come up with something different.

So...I went with something different. Want to guess what it was? Aluminum foil! That's right, I grabbed a sheet from the kitchen, doubled it for extra strength, wrapped it around a piece of cardstock and ran it though my Big Shot, using a Tim embossing folder. The results? Stunning! The embossed metal was just beautiful, perfect the way it was, but I wanted to continue using Tim's techniques so I added the paint! I used paint from the Ranger Paint Daubers that I had in stock, which weren't holiday colors but I like them just the same.

Once the blocks of paint were dry I very lightly sanded the raised areas and since this wasn't actually metal I did need to be very gentle with the sanding. Once the sanding was completed, I covered the entire tag with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and clear embossing powder. Then the magic happened. Once the embossing powder was heated and cooled I was left with this amazing little piece of art that resembled an old license plate. Very cool!

My final addition was the metal piece, which Tim also used on his tag, but he used a wreath and since this wasn't a very Christmas looking card I opted to just add a metal tag and sentiment. There you have it...Day Six!!

12 Tags of Christmas - Day Four

It's Day Four! I love today's icy blue/white color combo, the distressed snowman...the crackling is awesome, and the glossy numbers!

I used Distress Crackle Paint to paint the grungeboard snowman and then colored the snowman with Distress Ink after the paint was dry. The ink really picks up all of those tiny cracks...looks amazing in person (yes, these cards are in the store!). The letters, cut using the Noel die, were added to the snowman and then I added Glossy Accents over the entire surface for great shine and dimension. The portion at the bottom are some twigs cut out of...you guessed it, packaging! Because the packaging is so heavy, it's easy to bend the twigs for added texture and movement. Other elements include a few buttons, rhintestones, and twill tape for Mr. Snowman's scarf!

That's right, we have the Tim Holtz Vagabond in stock! Wouldn't this be the perfect gift for under the tree this year? Pure crafting love! We also have a numbe of other new Tim Hotlz products in stock...
Holiday-inspired tissue tape (as well as others). If you've never used Tim's tissue tape before, now is the time to make a change and try out this amazing product! It can be used on anything and everything, from cards to scrapbook pages, to tags, and even 3-D projects, such as Tim's Configurations box. I insist on having at least six of these tapes in my craft room at any one time!

Following on the theme of his embossing kraft cardstock, Tim has released this set of embossed kraft letters and numbers. Simply apply Distress Ink or Stain and you've got a beautiful set of letters just waiting to be placed on your favorite craft project.

Remember those tiny vials that Tim released last year? They were the perfect size for adding to framed projects or his Configurations boxes and just big enough to hold a bit of sand (how about after a trip to the beach?) or use Distress Ink reinkers to add color. Now we have labels that can be applied to the tags...how totally fun is that! Use these labels to record your favorite potion.

Brand new Lifestyle Crafts dies have been added to the store! I'm personally in love with the new alphabet dies (we have three new ones in all!). You know what I love even more, the fact that these alphabets only cost $14.99! We also have a supply of new embossing folders from Lifestyle Crafts.

12 Tags of Christmas - Day Three

Welcome to Day Three! Today's tag was super easy to create and although my card looks a bit different than Tim's the same technqiues were used; embossing, adding color with a blending tool and Distress Inks, and using gold Perfect Peals.

To start, I ran a piece of kraft cardstock through my Big Shot, using a holiday words embossing folder from Sizzix. I then used Distress Inks (all the new colors of course!) to add color over the embossing. The edges are nicely distressed and Walnut Stain Distress Ink was added for some depth. (Never underestimate that Walnut Stain ink...it really does add something wonderful to the edges of cards!)

And then for the bling...gold Perfect Pearls...doesn't that just rock! The gold shimmer is just amazing! I then added the twine and altered metal tag (had to go with that saying 'cause this project was definitely altered!). The greenery at the bottom of the card was created using Tim's fall die and Kraft Core-dinations cardstock. The three holly berries were actually white, I colored them red using Copic markers.

You can stop by the store and see not only the Tim products that we have in stock (that is if I don't buy them all myself! WooHoo!) but you can also see these cards in person! Today's card features this darling deer die that has been covered in sticky back canvas, embossed kraft paper, metal star adornment, holiday token, safety pin, vintage brads, and pine needle stamp...all from Tim! 12 Tags of Christmas - Day 1

So...did you all go and visit Tim's blog this morning??!! No, then get on over there because now he has his Day 2 tag posted! Yippee and Ya-Hooie!! I'm so excited about the 12 Tags of Christmas!!

Guess what? I had to re-create Tim's Day 1 tag..I know, you're not surprised, are you? Well...I did make one change this year. I opted to create a card instead of a tag! Since we hold a tag classes each month (and I'm hoping to do so again next year!), I figured I'd do something a little bit different for my own personal stash of goodies!

This tag was quite a creation! A whole lot of glue, distressing, sanding, die cutting, and glitter! I believe that my entire room, and perhaps my entire person, is covered in fabulous silver glitter! Love it! This was an involved project...lots of steps and time required but the end result is amazing! Really beautiful in person!! (Yes, the card will be at the store for up close viewing!)

Welcome to another Technique Tuesday! I have a bunch of ideas ready to go for a few new videos but my schedule has been keeping me away from the crafting studio lately! Keep an eye out for a new video next week!

For today's technique we'll be looking at how to create this darling paper drawer and card set. This is a super easy project and the box and drawer are very easy to create. (Even for me, who is painfully number challenged!!)

I know, I know, it's not even close to being spring (oh but it will be soon...although not soon enough!) but I just had to share this darling box that is made from five 4"x4" coasters. I ordered these coasters from an online store (be prepared, you typically need to buy these in bulk!) but you can use free drink coasters that you get at restaurants, just ask your waitress for extras!

All that you need to complete this project is some designer paper, ribbon, a Crop-a-dile, and some glue. You can find full directions and a video here.

Once my box was finished I filled it up with mini Milky Way bars...yum! Wouldn't this be a perfect project for favors, mini Easter baskets, gift boxes, you name it! Why not give this project a try today? Wholly Scrap! has a wide variety of papers and ribbons to get you started!!

Thanks to our crazy October snowstorm this past weekend and being without power, I'm sharing an older project today. This is called a 2, 5, 7, 9 box, which is made out of one piece of 8.5 x 11 piece of paper! These are great little boxes that are super easy to create and perfect for small gifts or favor boxes. This box is decorated with a digital image from Tiffany Doodles. The paper I used on this project is from Little Yellow Bicycle, which is last year's line, but we do have this year's winter and holiday line in the store now!! Enjoy the video!

It's been too long since I've share a design team project!! These two sweet Mickey pages are so cute and I love the addition of this sparkly Micky paper! Really love the use of the paper turned into a Mickey shape for this first page.

Ribbon Organizer

I've been meaning to share the pictures of my new, super fabulous, ribbon organizer for days! Wholly Scrap! brought these organizations into the store a short time ago and within a few days of them tempting me from the floor, I caved and purchased one! And I love, love, love it!!

Prior to installing the organizer, which takes just minutes, I had most of my ribbon in a big plastic bin (anyone else know what I'm talking about??) *smile* I like that this organizer fits perfectly under my shelves and right above my work space. And I love that every size of ribbon spool fits perfectly (even little tiny spools fit!) and that I can hang extra yards of ribbon from the clips that attach to the bottom railing. There's even a yard stick measurement attached to the front! Oh, and the railing at the top holds each of the ribbon in a perfect position for easy cutting!

Love it, you gotta have it, stop by and pick up your organizer this week! Limited supply left!

The cost for six months is $54.00 (just $9.00 per month!) and our montly class will be held on the last Saturday of each month from 1:00-2:00 pm. Interested in classes that are geared towards teaching you new techniques, learning how to create scrapbook pages, cards, and other paper projects, or just a night out with your friends? Sign up for one of the many classes offered at Wholly Scrap! We have a wonderful group of talented instructors that are excited about demonstrating and sharing their beautiful creations! How about meeting our talented instructors...

Michelle Daigle is one of our newest instructors. She also used to own the Papertree store in Manchester, NH! She is one super talented person and a delight as an instructor (I've taken her classes!!) Here is a little bit about Michelle in her own words:

I am a simple girl who lives with my best friend and her weim Cassie. I am a proud mom of veteran, daughter to the most amazing parents, and faithful friend to my Nana. I'm happiest when I'm spending time with the people I love, creating pretty things in my studio, treasure hunting, reading and being inspired by other creative artists, spending time in the New England outdoors and curling up with a big blanket on the couch watching movies.I have been crafting most of my life whether it's scrapbooking, card making, crochet, embroidery, painting or photography. This year, I began taking collage courses with Melody Ross and Christy Tomlinson. I am eager to get back to sharing my knowledge with other fellow creative souls.

An also fairly new instructor Mary-Ann Maldonado is the queen of mini albums and card kits! Her hip designs and super personality make her a hit with class attendees. Mary-Ann lives with her adoring husband and darling son in MA. She has a blog filled with lovely ideas and inspiration; from mini albums to cards to scrapbook pages. A treat for any crafter!

We're so excited to have Lorrie Beaulieu, the previous owner of Wholly Scrap!, teaching at the store! Not only is Lorrie a wonderful scrapbooker but she's also an amazing teacher and instructor. Lorrie shared the following about her paper crafting journey, I started paper crafting about 12 years ago when my sister-in-law had me over for a home party. After that I was hooked! I loved all the pretty papers, stickers and TOOLS! I resisted buying the Cricut for a few years, then finally broke down and now I LOVE it! I find myself using the Cricut for my scrapbooking, but also for projects around the home and for my cakes too! I hope you can join me in one of my Cricut classes or in my newly formed Cricut Club at Wholly Scrap!

One can't think of the stunning artwork seen in the store and not think of Donna-Marie Cecere. Donna-Marie is an amazing designer that has been teaching and working at the store for many years. Her work will always "wow" you and we're thrilled that she has continued to share her ideas with us during her classes. Here's a little bit more about Donna-Marie. Donna-Marie has spent her entire life being "crafty"! Her first scrapbook was when she was a Girl Scout and took a trip to Washington DC. With all of this creative energy she decided to choose a career in design. She chose Fashion Design and graduated from Massachusetts College of Art with a BFA. She owned and operated Donna-Marie's Bridal Designs in Boston for several years. The decision to close it and pursue teaching was a much needed change. She wanted to be a part of my daughter’s life on a more full time basis. She has been teaching art and design for 10 years (both high school and college) and could not be any happier!

And Kim Schofield, who began teaching in the store many years ago, before her second son was born. She took a break and then returned to teaching (and working part-time!) in 2010. Here is a little bit more about Kim, I am primarily a SAHM living in Fremont, NH with my husband of 13 years and our two little boys. I have always enjoyed crafting but it was about 10 years ago when I picked up my first rubber stamp and quickly fell in love with the art of stamping. I've been blessed to be on a few design teams and have had my work published in online and printed magazines. I love being a part of the Wholly Scrap! family and like nothing more than interacting with customers and teaching classes at the store....as I'm often overheard saying, "this store is my happy place."

New Wholly Scrap! Clubs

We're excited about the recent announcement of two new clubs that have been added to our class schedule; the Cricut and Spellbinders Clubs! Why not check one (or both) of them out and consider signing up for the full six months!

Cricut Club began on October 16 at 11:00 am (The next class will be held on November 13 at 11:00 am)
Cost is $45 for a six month commitment
During the meeting you'll explore new ways to use your Cricut (layering, vinyl, pens, chipboard, etc.). Some meetings will also include a project.

I know I should stop gushing but really...I can hardly stand how creative this girl is! It's another stunning piece by Donna-Marie! She created this beauty with the wooden box and tags from Kaiser Kraft and paper from Graphic 45.

I finally broke down and purchased the box and tags because...well...I need to try my hand at this type of project! The tags are stock full of beautiful vintage images from the paper and loads of metal objects (Tim Holtz) and flowers. An amazing project...stop by and check it out in person at the store! Design Team Projects

Ready for some more design team projects? Today I'm sharing two pages from our DT member, Tara. Tara's first page, shown above, was created using sweet little boy-themed paper from Carolees. The best part of this page, besides that silly photo of Tara's son, that amazing clown! Tara hand drew the entire clown and use orange twill ribbon to create the clowns hair and the designer paper to create the clothing embellishments...Truly Amazing!! You need to stop in and see this great page in person!
Our next project was created using shell paper from Karen Foster (one of my favorite beach papers in the store!) Tara created a sandy beach by disressing a piece of cardstock and then added the Hampton Beach title. Instead of using the shell designer paper as a background design, Tara opted to cut out the shell and scatter them along her paper beach. Lovely! I also really like how she used ribbon to frame her photo...what a great use of this product!

Get Baking with Moxxie

Baking, it's one of my favorite kitchen activities (well besides the eating part) and now that I have children nothing has been more fun then baking with them. Just recently I scrapbooked some favorite cupcake baking photos and I love the pages. Such memories quickly fade but preserving them in scrapbooks is a wonderful way to keep those precious - but fleeting - moments alive.

This class has been designed for you to choose your own book theme. Donna-Marie's sample is a school book, however, you will have the opportunity to create any color/occasion you wish for your book. This class will just be covering the making of the book; you can then choose how to embellish it at a later date. Therefore since you are choosing your book theme the following supplies will need to be supplied by you:

Materials Needed:
2 - 12 x 12 sheets matching patterned paper (book cover)
5 - 12 x 12 sheets double sided paper (for inside pages)
1 - 12 x 12 sheet colored cardstock (inside cover)
5 - 12 x 12 sheets colored cardstock (for tags and tabs)

Please understand that all of the above supplies need to be brought to class for you to complete your book properly…none of the above items will be supplied by the instructor.

Takeover Challenge #5 - Tags

Welcome to our next challenge! We only have two challenges left and prizes lining up so...who is up for playing along? Today's challenge is all about tags! Anyone who knows me knows that I love all things Tim Holtz and while I have a few tags that are duplicates of the ones that he has created, I also have a collection of tags that are very different and simply use some of the techniques. But before I get to today's tag, let's review those challenge rules!

1) Challenges will be posted on Mon., Wed., & Fri. this week.
2) You will have two days to complete your challenge project.
3) Project photos must be posted on our Facebook page, either in a wall post or in the photo album labeled, "Takeover Challenges."
4) At the end of each challenge, I will select a winner and that person will win free product.
5) If you participate in every challenge then you will be entered into the grand prize drawing, which will be selected the week of August 15.

Today's tag features designer paper from Kaiser Craft, flowers by Petaloo, baubles by Tim Holtz, and rhinestones by Prima. This was a super easy card to create as I used the designer paper as the background image for the tag. Then I simply needed to add embellishments...the most fun part! I also added a stamped ticket from the "Odds and Ends" stamp set to the tag and attached it using a mini paper clip (also from Tim). Super fun and easy tag!

Takeover Challenge #4 - Glitter

Welcome to our first Takeover Challenge of week two!! Today's challenge is to use glitter! And I am so excited about today's project! This is a technique I've been meaning to try out for months and I finally had a chance to play with this great sticker product. But first let's get to the challenge rules...

2) You will have two days to complete your challenge project.
3) Project photos must be posted on our Facebook page, either in a wall post or in the photo album labeled, "Takeover Challenges."
4) At the end of each challenge, I will select a winner and that person will win free product.
5) If you participate in every challenge then you will be entered into the grand prize drawing, which will be selected the week of August 15.

On to today's project! One of our customers taught a class in the Spring using Elizabeth Craft stickers and glitter. I was amazed at her beautiful cards but couldn't attend the class so I just picked up a set of these cupcake stickers. (We have a wonderful selection of these stickers in the store!)

To make these images you place one of the outline stickers on top of a sheet of wonder tape (also called Red Line tape). You'll want the sheets of these tape, not the roll. I cut out a piece of wonder tape that was just a bit larger than the sticker. I then poured a very fine white/clear glitter over the wonder tape, pressing down to adhere the glitter to the glue. Shake off the excess and then...color right on top of the glitter with Copic markers!! Love, love, love the results! Isn't it the coolest thing ever! It's even more shimmery in person, which you can check out as this card is in the store!! **Smile** I ended up cutting out the cupcake image and used foam tape to pop it up on a Nestibilities circle. (The designer paper is from October Afternoon).

Takeover Challenge #3 - Layout Challenge

Welcome to our third Takeover Challenge!! I figured it was high time that I used a scrapbook page as part of our challenges..You know seeing as Wholly Scrap! is a scrapbook store! :-)

Today's challenge is to create a one-page scrapbook page, my layout above. And I'm going to make today's challenge even easier...You can either create a page following my layout or create a cooking-themed page. Here are the rest of the rules regarding the challenges:

I only recently started scrapbooking and I love it! It's such a great way to document special and every day memories. Seeing the photos above I'm reminded that just a few days before our youngest had been sick. He was finally starting to feel a little bit better (I think he's still in his jammies in the photos) and we decided to bake some cupcakes...because cupcakes always make one feel pretty darn good!

The paper on my layout is from Kaiser Kraft, the Nan's Favorites collection. We still have a few pieces of this paper left but it was a good seller! The collection came with coordinating die cut images, which are just perfect for adding a little bit of fun to scrapbook pages.

Today's challene is a color challenge! Your colors for this challenge are orange, yellow, and blue. Here's a guide to help out with picking the colors.

On today's card I used a darling new Little Yellow Bicycle paper line called Baby Saurus (there is also a coordinating girl-themed paper available called Tiny Princess) and paired it with this adorable elephant stamp from the Sweet 'n Sassy stamp set, Baby's Circus. For embellishments, I used clear rhinestones and a few snippets of orange twill. All of these supplies can be found at Wholly Scrap! We're also pleased to order Sweet 'n Sassy stamps for our customer as well so love the Baby's Circus stamp set? We'll get it for you!

Takeover Challenge #1 - Core-dinations

Welcome to day one of the Wholly Scrap! Takeover! I'll be posting here every day for the next two weeks, while Denise and her family is on a vacation...where there aren't any phones or internet.....oh, if she only knew what I was up to!! :-)

Today we start with a challenge!! Participating in our challenges is the only way to be entered in to our prize drawings so please read all of the rules carefully!

Today's challenge is to use Core-dinations paper on your project, which can be a card, scrapbook page, or anything three-dimensional. You may use any variation of Core-dinations. For example, on my card I used the new embossed Core-dinations, which comes with designs already embossed in to the cardstock. The store is well stocked with Core-dinations paper, in plain colors, and also embossed. Cost runs from .45-.85/per 12x12 sheet.

I paired the alphabet Core-dinations cardstock with this stunning designer paper from Graphic 45, "The Magic of Oz." One of the things I love about this paper line is that it comes with cards and other images that can be easily cut out and used as a focal point on a card or scrapbook page. Since Dorothy is the star of Oz, I had to use her as my main image. And taking a design tip from Donna-Marie, I added two pearl stick pins to my card as an embellishment, along with red-glitter chipboard stars and black rhinestones. (We have a limited supply of these beautiful, vintage stick pins in stock...3 for $1.00!) I also cut out the faux stamp and used a 1/8" hole punch to create the postage stamp look. Fun stuff!!

All supplies used on today's challenge card (with the exception of the chipboard and pearl spheres) can be found at Wholly Scrap! You have until midnight on Tuesday, August 2 to complete this challenge and post your project on our Facebook page!
